How can we support you?
Our coaches will work closely with you to recognise your skills and qualities, and identify any barriers you are facing and support you to overcome them. Together we will set small, realistic and achievable goals in order to improve your confidence, increase your motivation and empower you to reach your personal aspirations.
Team North Somerset have also worked directly with participants of the project to create a bespoke activity-based programme called Solutions. Solutions is designed to help reduce social isolation, build confidence, develop skills and help you to prepare for volunteering, education or work. These bite-sized activities are delivered in small groups, and include things such as; setting up an email address, creating and updating CVs to showcase skills, effective job searching and applications, volunteering activities, beach and woodland activities, introduction to IT to build computer skills.
Eligibility
West of England Works provide support for people who:
- Are economically inactive or have been unemployed for at least 12 months
- Are a UK citizen or have a right to work in the UK
- Are facing challenges that make gaining employment or accessing training difficult
- Live in South Bristol
- Take part in a range of activities
